Art instructors
San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- Art instructors belonging to the brigade ‘’José Martí’’ maintain their links with educational institutions of Ariguanabo. Our town has about 30 instructors at schools with the aim of giving appreciation–creation workshops to transform their socio-cultural environment and create an artistic, human and patriotic style. Thus they foster the assimilation of critical judgment and right aesthetic tastes from the earliest age.
These young get the artistic skills of children to link them later with the Culture House. On the other hand, there is a shortage of instructors at schools in the municipality. However, those who remain at educational centers perform a hard work from their workplace and support cultural activities of San Antonio de los Baños, for example, the primary school ‘’Lethi Rieng’’ participates in various art manifestations, mainly in dance, led by the instructor.
They also participate in competitions, exhibitions and maintain their space at Ruben Suárez Quidiello Park (Parque del Humor) every Sunday; there, they show students’ talent through various activities.
