San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- Works by the catalan artist Anthony Miró are exhibited at the the Provincial Center of Visual Arts ‘’Eduardo Abela’’, in our town. The exhibition comprises 27 works of medium format. Conceived by a technique in which painting and photography are mixed. In these paintings, erotic themes are reflected by the creator who focuses on the human figure through the pose of a model. They express different speeches hinting knowledge of dance, one of the artistic expressions that captivates audiences.
‘’Anthony Miró in Cuba’’ is the title of this exhibition, part of the National Council of Plastic Arts which began its journey precisely at the ariguanabense institution. Then it will continue its journey towards other cultural institutions of our country. The residents of our village have this expo available until the first days of the coming November.
