A fundamental contribution

Raw MaterialRaw Material A lot of recyclables from shops, markets and trade and gastronomy centers, among other public establishments go every day to rubbish. The current international financial crisis has led to a gradual increase in prices of raw material on the market, so save and retrieve them is a vital task for the country.

In Cuba this activity is carried out by the Union of Enterprises for Raw Material Recovery  under the Ministry of the Iron and Steel Industry. This entity is responsible for the recovery, processing and marketing of recyclable materials and waste generated in industry, services and community. I think that everyone, from your neighborhood can bring the resources, even if they seem unusable, may have another purpose. It also helps clean up and embellish the environment. Restore much of its value allows to obtain economic benefits.

In our town this work is carried out through the responsible entity, with the support of schools and the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR). Steel scrap, non-metallic paper and paperboard, non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, etc.) as well as many bottles can be recycled.

Buying Houses began to work in Cuba since 1982. People can deliver their material and simultaneously receive remuneration for it. However, I believe that institutions should increase its contribution, as many national groups still  violate the provisions of the Act 1288. It is essential, given that the legislation outlines the responsibilities of entities in the preservation, collection, selection, and wastes packaging to be reused by the national economy.
