San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- Cuba celebrates the Agricultural Worker Day. In this context, several perspectives are taken into account by the enterprise of this sector to optimize its work. Ensure stability in the exploitation of land given in usufruct is one of them, considering that this task supports food production and import substitution in San Antonio de los Baños.
On the other hand, the city is ready for the tour of the national group of the Urban, Suburban and Family Agriculture that will take place on October 13th and 14th. Conditions are prepared in seed farms, orchards, organic gardens and semi-protected. It is also important to strengthen the supply of vegetables and fruit by cooperatives to Public Health and Education Centers.
The sanitary ware for slaughtering cattle, a flowers farm and a nave for agricultural products are other prospects of the Enterprise to improve the conditions of storage products, their quality and organization. These works should be concluded before October 10th, as reported by Reinel Calzado Ayala, Director of Acopio in San Antonio de los Baños. This October 3th, Day of the Agricultural Worker, entities recognized farmers and managers with over 25 years of uninterrupted work in this.
