San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The Experimental Station of Medicinal Plants ‘’Doctor Juan Tomas Roig’’ of this town overfulfilled the production plan by 107 percent.
The institution produces syrups and currently carries out the anticatarrhal campaign that will extend to November. During last August productions were focused on aloe and oregano syrups. The company marketed its drugs with the establishments of the territory. These drugs are made from natural products that offer no collateral damage to health.
Similarly, they produced the aqueous extract ‘’Aloe 50 percent’’, a viscous solution for the treatment of stomach ulcers. So said Carlos Alberto Rodriguez, Director of the Station. The official also said that the center works closed cycle from the agricultural part and industrialization continues until the commercial part.
