This September 28th, neighborhoods, blocks and territorial communities celebrated the 56th anniversary of the largest mass organization in the country, the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR). During the meeting cuban cederistas danced, talked, exchanged and families joined together constituting the neighborhood.
Many tasks have been undertaken by the CDR, among them, blood donations, a work of love and solidarity that cuban cederistas asume, for certain, that every drop of the precious liquid helps those in need.
Also the collection of raw materials is an ongoing work of the organization which solidifies the economy, as recycling avoids the import of many products. Cubans, who have been members of its ranks for more than five decades, comb his gray hair with the conviction of having met the goal: to protect the achievements of the Revolution.
