CDR
An organization as great as our people. Thus we can define the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), created on September 28th, 56 years ago by the Leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro.
Since then, the desire to unite the Cuban people in an organization, became a reality and has been present in every celebration, event and political activity. CDR accompany the government, the Party ad other associations when facing the noblest or most complex task. In San Antonio de los Baños, it supports the Public Health sector through voluntary blood donations, in recognition of those who give a part of themselves to help save the lives of others.
The CDR have much to be proud of, their grassroots cadres and leaders are responsible and concerned about the welfare of the community, as always wanted Fidel. In every block there is always a man or a woman who always takes a step forward to support it. Some ariguanabenses need to strengthen their participation as CDR members, for example, in the rescue of surveillance, an extremely important aspect to prevent the occurrence of crimes or face social indisciplines.
However, this great organization like the cuban people should improve their work. Celebrating its 56 years is now the priority. Then we should maintain the essence for which our leader created it and defend the revolutionary work at any price.
