San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The State Traffic Unit in the territory is belongs to the Ministry of Transport, an organization that monitors compliance with the law by transport carriers in private and state sectors.
Control of the established regulations to private carriers and state enterprises is carried out monthly, states Margarita de la Caridad Ortega Hernandez, Traffic Inspector of the state sector. Adds the specialist that control of illegalities is a priority for inspectors, therefore, drivers operating without license are ordered to pay from 500 to 700 Cuban pesos (CUP). Points out the inspector traffic that compliance with the price list is controlled, as well as cargo transport documents, correct fuel usage and technical inspection of cars.
