ANEC: supervisors of local development

EconomistsEconomists San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The subsidiary of the National Economists Association of Cuba (ANEC) in Ariguanabo advises compliance with the economic policy planned in the country to contribute to local development and to promote the strengthening of internal control and register from every state entity, as well as new forms of employment.

Martha Silvia Díaz Jaime, President of the subsidiary in Ariguanabo states the importance of the contribution of state entities and other existing forms of economic management in the territory including new forms of employment for use in favor of meeting the needs of the population.

The official insists that the role of economists is vital because they control the economic indicators, accounting, registration of economic facts and truthfulness, so that contributions correspond with real incomes.

She points out that from each entity, economists contribute to local development by raising the knowlege of all actors that have to do with the registration of economic events: leaders, managers of various entities and representatives of mass and political organizations from updating changes in the cuban economic model.
