San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The Enterprise for Recovery of Raw Material in this municipality develops actions for recycling. Systematically responsible for this task, this entity will update the state contracts with different companies for the recovery of materials such as aluminum and stainless steel, metals of great importance for the country, especially for imports substitution.
Rolando Morales, Director of the enterprise, explained that the ariguanabense territory makes coordinations with the Technical Aluminios Enterprise (ALUTEC), in compliance with the Law 1288, which states that all Enterprises that have recyclable material must sell it to the Enterprise for Recovery of Raw Material through an agreement and also by the contribution of the people.
The executive officer added that the Enterprise oversees the achievement of the recovery plans, because the recycling activity has a great importance for territorial and national economy.
