San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The House of Culture ‘’Raymundo Valenzuela’’ of San Antonio de los Baños invites all poets and plastic artists who live or work in the city to participate at the Contest ‘’La Décima Ilustrada’’ which it is organized as part of the 10th Traditions Festival ‘’Nora Lloró’’ with regard to the 40th week of the ariguanabense culture.
Bases
The works to be presented will have from one to four unpublished and traditional décimas (10-line stanzas) of free subject. The works should be sent or personally delivered until Wednesday, September 14th at the House of Culture in San Antonio de los Baños to be illustrated by plastic artists.
The author's information will be at the back of the work: (name, address and phone).
The best texts and illustrations will be rewarded by a competent jury. All participants will receive diplomas and the selected works will be part of an exhibition that will be inaugurated and rewarded on Wednesday, September 21st at 2 pm, at the House of Culture. These works will become part of the funds of the institution.
