San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- According to the needs, statements voters and availability of financial and material resources; several works were chosen this year as local development projects.
Two months ago these projects were announced during one of the regular sessions of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power and today, says Yoandy Perez, Head of the Administration in San Antonio de los Baños, four of them are approved.
We talk about the construction of a bakery in the Community "Raúl Hernández Vidal" known as ''Base Aérea''. This work is already under implementation. Moreover it is working on enabling a Fines Office in front of the Central Park "José Martí".
The Municipal Amphitheatre and a second combined project for the local production of building materials are pending. All these projects are carried out through an existing fund of around 220 thousand pesos, received as part of the tax of 1 percent of the enterprises. For September there are other social projects such as, repairing stops of public transport and some sidewalks of the town.
