San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The Directorate of the Cuban Women Federation (CWF) in this location helps to prevent domestic violence through the work of the House of Orientation for Women and Family.
The (CWF) in this town perfects the working methods of the structures based on the issue of gender violence deepening of the culture of equality between men and women, said Belkis Rodriguez, Secretary of the ariguanabense organization. She notes that the Orientation House for Women and Family focuses preventive work on counseling, care and follow up on cases of domestic violence gender with the participation of a multidisciplinary team that integrates.
Belkis states insists that females are calls to assume a greater prominence actions taking into account what has been achieved since the Revolution against any discriminatory manifestation.
She added that the workshops, conferences and exchanges between generations of women and the participation of specialists that deepen and belie misconceptions present even in the patriarchal culture in which we live, allow progress on the issue and encourage the change of mentality in search of solution for a fuller society in the near future.
