San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The Culture Department in the territory provides various cultural recreational events during the current month as part of the summer plan.
Among the events that cultural institutions will develop are the opening of the Erotic Art Salon at the Provincial Center of Visual Arts ‘’Eduardo Abela’’. The Municipal Museum will pay tribute to Pedro Marrero, who was President of the Combatants Association of the Cuban Revolution in Ariguanabo.
Rita Maria Gonzalez, Programmer of the Culture Department, said that the territory celebrated with various events the 90th birthday of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro. Among them, the opening of a photo exhibition in the house of an ariguanabense child, Marlon Mendez Cabrera with Fidel, which will be accompanied by a cultural activity. Humor Museum will honor the 90th birthday of the Caguairán (Fidel) and on August 12th, ‘’Gitanos’’ Group will offer a concert at the Humor Park.
‘’Yagrumas’’ Group will give a concert, ‘’Waiting for your 90th’’. Activities such as sports, recreational and cultural festivals, with the participation of professional and amateur vocal soloists, will be held during the summer.
