GYMSan Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba._Sports Directorate in San Antonio de los Baños, honored the figure of a Master in Sports Science; they named the first Biohealthy Gym that was built in the town, ''José Cartaya Ortega''. The idea was initiated by his widow, Ms. Magaly Alfonso, who is the main instructor of the ariguanabense sports site. She expressed satisfaction with the completion of the naming, since in this way, honor is done to "Pepe" who helped to build the Gym.
José Cartaya Ortega, was born on April 28th, 1956 and was one of the graduates from the Higher Institute of Physical Culture ‘’Manuel Fajardo’’, who formed the teachers of physical education in the country. He fulfilled the social service in Camagüey for five years and returned to San Antonio de los Baños to continue forming generations. He was a Master, one of his latest titles before his death on November,4th, 2013. The best tribute and eternal gratitude for him. You deserve this recognition friend!

Pepe Cartaya has reborn. He arrives early at the meeting with the sport of his homeland. He says hello to the ladies with the usual amorous compliment and offers a handshake to his fellow workers and friends of the sport. It seems that he didn’t leave that morning, November 4th, 2013. The Master in Sports Science wanted to stay forever in all his friends and acquaintances, in the baseball family and his own.
Today his name exalts one of the biohealthy gyms of my Ariguanabo. He is happy to be back. José Cartaya, or simply Pepe, left traces in this piece of country called San Antonio de los Baños. He gave joys to his people on the best end of the Provincial Series, First Category. He was on the bank of a great team, accompanied by William Hernandez, Luis Alberto Medina, Esteban Perez, Wilfredo Hernandez, Osmel Perez, Luis Enrique Falcon and others.
The stories come and go like doves in the wind. Those who were at that time now return to ''Julio Pérez'' or ''Tricontinental'' Stadium. We found him again and again. Pepe Cartaya gives the address, corrects technical errors and is interested in different rules of the sport for which he was always a passionate man. Today Pepe returns to stay in history as a living example of love for sport. It could not be otherwise. The day chosen for this event is perfect. INDER is 55 years old and biohealthy gyms represent a sample of sport for all, that’s why our Pepe Cartaya made so much for it.
