ARTINSTRUCTORS
As a result of one of the projects of the Cuban Revolution, art instructors are mostly young people who provide knowledge and culture to work with the community. Grouped in the Brigade ´´José Martí´´ they encourage life in schools and communities awaking in children, adolescents and adults artistic vocation and aesthetic taste for the arts.
Each February 18th, Cuba celebrates the Art Instructor Day to thank these young people, who strengthen the community work, in order to improve the life quality of the population. They take into account the preferences and aesthetic tastes of different sectors to conceive this activity through the best of our culture, identity and traditions.
In San Antonio de los Baños, the work of art instrutors from each educational center allows them to discover the cultural potential, with special emphasis, the movement of amateur artists and professional sector. In the territory it is vital to continue working in the professional motivation of the art Instructor. This requires strategies to ensure the development of a teaching professional motivation in order to insert the graduates at the teaching group.
The art instructor facilitates the cultural life in the territories, strengthens the values system and promotes local and national identity
