Many people admire the triumphs of Cuba in international baseball tournaments. Although it is controversial at present, the results of the Greater Antilles demonstrate the potential of this country in its national sport. A full history of glories that should not be forgotten, even in times of clear decline of this discipline. With regard to the recently concluded Caribbean Series (February 1st-7th, 2016), we offer an infographic showing the actions of the region's countries gathered at this baseball event.
Cuba stands out in some sections. For many years the professional teams of our country dominated these competitions (7 series between 1949-1960), especially for the "Los Tigres de Marianao", which won two consecutive series (1957 and 1958), only repeated by the "Águilas Cibaeñas" from Dominican Republic, 40 years later. Besides the casts of the Greater Antilles were able to succeed consecutively from 1956 to 1960 (5), when they interrupted their participation.
