San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The provincial baseball champion in this province, 1st category, San Antonio de los Baños team received the champion flag at ´´José Martí´´ Park in this town.
Osbec Pacheco and Michael Ortiz, members of the last team ´´Artemisa´´ in the National Series, laid a wreath at the bust of the Apostle to begin the ceremony which was chaired by the President of People's Power, Mercedes Orozco, along with other leaders of the Party, Government and INDER in the territory. The flag, that will accompany the champions by different diamonds in the province, was received by the athletes Yosvany Castillo and Jose Angel Peñalver, members of the last team ´´Cazadores´´.
The words of commitment were read by Yoberlan Vazquez, in which athletes were willing to be faithful followers of baseball tradition that exists in the Ariguanabo, to maintain discipline and the fighting spirit that characterizes the team. At the conclusion of the activity, athletes visited the Municipal Museum ´´José Rafael Lauzán´´ where they observed a sports exhibition that includes the main ariguanabense glories of sport in its different periods.
