San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The National Innovation and Rationalization Association (NIRA) contributes to economic savings in the municipality and the country through the work of its members in different entities. In the Science and Technology Forums developed in the past 2015, it was found efficiency in the innovators' production at the Enterprise Base Unit (EBU) ´´Confecciones Ariguanabo´´ and ´´Chocolé EBU´´.
In an effort to ensure greater efficiency in the production of clothing, using the quality management system, different research works presented by members of ´´ Ariguanabo Confecciones´´ obtained a Relevant Certificate. One of them was related to the widespread technology of the "sport" shirt. The presence of creative females stood out in making shorts for girls.
Also, it was recognized the work of members of the NIRA that manufactured with aluminum and zinc galvanized the top cover of the machine used to make the festoon and stitching of clothing. In other entities solutions are looked for to ensure spare parts for vehicles, to substitute imports, to save resources for the municipality. We must stand out the work of ALUTEC Enterprise, which has shown positive results in the transformation of machinery.
Tobacco Enterprise also contributes with its scientific researches to achieve stability during each campaign. However, despite having more than 700 members of the NIRA in San Antonio de los Baños, all the labor unions do not give the required importance to this activity.
