San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- Again, San Antonio de los Baños lived the emotion of meeting and nostalgia. It was on January 31th, the date chosen for the ceremonial celebrations of the Absent Ariguanabense Day.
Absentees who come on holiday time, the authorities and the people returned to the yearnings and disappointments, to the laughter and anecdotes. They returned to walk the streets to enjoy the art that germinates in this corner of Artemisa and also to have lunch next to Ariguanabo river in the legendary Quintica.
They returned again, and again they were delighted with the colossal artistic work of Professor Rodolfo Chacon an overflowing ariguanabense who delivers Cubania and art to his students at the prestigious project "Dulcequimera."
Those, who left and never returned, were there and brought the eternal dream of immortality. Suarez Quidiello, Bernabe Ordaz, Felix Romero, René de la Nuez, Francisco Villamil. Everyone, absolutely everyone, returned to their homeland to caress the breeze combing the park flamboyant. They returned to talk to those present and dream of a more beautiful and pleasant Ariguanabo. German Carlos Fuentes, Ramón Benito Perez, Ada Maria Salgado, Mario Moreira, Jose Antonio "Tato" Rolando Fuentes or "Cotico" Enriquez were also absent, but in memory. These, from sport, deserved their places in an afternoon of festivity and fraternity.
What a nice idea! Absent ariguanabense! Initiatives, proposals, projections and many desires. By this time it was great. Everyone sang in the Circle of Craftsmen theater, A glorious Sunday for my Ariguanabo. Thanks again!
