San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba. Ariguanabense pioneers participated in a parade, in honor of the 163th anniversary of Marti’s birth. The 70th Street became a sea of colors with different activities. Members of the Cuban Revolution Combatants Association, teachers and workers, laid a wreath at The Master’s bust in Jose Marti Park.
The parade began with a representation of children from 4 and 5 years old dressed like some characters of the ´´Golden Age´´ book, followed by pioneers, students of the Workers - Farm Faculty, members of the High School Student Federation, the University Student Federation, The Pre-University Exact Sciences Institute ´´Humboldt 7 Martyrs ´´ and ´´Battle of the Jigüe´´ Center.
The ceremony was presided by Jorge Luis Valley Portales, 1st Secretary of the Party; Yoan Molina Blanco, Vice President of the Administration Council of the province; Lourdes Arcacha, General Director of Education, Culture and Sports; Yamilé Collazo Recio, Director of Education; Mercedes Orozco, President of the People's Power Assembly and members of political and mass organizations of Ariguanabo.
