San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba. Artemisa- Mayabeque Subsidiary of Cuban Cultural Assets Fund, based in this town, overfulfilled the income plan, scheduled for 2015. After a year of hard work, the accounts prove it. In national currency they achieved a 170 percent and a 109 percent in freely convertible currency, which saves costs and expenses.

The possible contracts that favored these achievements are the agreements with the Workers Union of Cuba (WUC) in Artemisa, Mayabeque Forest with works for hotels and tourism, as well as the restoring of  Artemisa’s Music House. Also, good results in PABEXPO fairs in Havana, such  as ´´Art for Mom´´, ´´FIART´´ and ´´Mayabeque Fair´´ in Expocuba. At these events, higher quality designs were shown by creators.

The Subsidiary stood out in the repair of La Nenita Shop. This establishment will soon open its doors to the public to sell the artists’ works. Thanks to all these results, the institution fulfilled its purpose to produce, market, promote and apply the arts of artisans affiliated to the institution in order to reform the cultural identity.
