The main objective of the art instructors is to impart appreciation -creation workshops in pre-university, primary and high schools, computer polytechnic and behavior school in order to convert them Pioneer Palaces in the community.
This work helps to develop their socio-cultural environment, create a style which integrates the artistic, human and patriotic and promotes critical judgment and aesthetic tastes from the earliest age.
But ... in San Antonio de los Baños, Is there a vast movement of art instructors? Do the social purpose and functions of these professionals continue developing? These are questions that I ask myself in various cultural activities in which I participate. Because what I do value is how every day the territory has less brigades. The art quarry vanishes.
The ´´Illusion´´, ´´Fantasy´´ and the theater group of the special school ´´April 17th´´ so far achieve a great development, however, what happens in other schools ?. Not all educational institutions have their instructors for the different manifestations and what is worse, the Culture House in our town only has an art instructor.
The community activities made on weekends have difficulties and sometimes the art instructor is not present. I think the problem is not only the salary that many criticize. It is low, but we also analyze the commitment and responsibility that these workers must assume with their tasks and duties as art instructors.
