San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba, dedicated to the Spanish culture, the first Date with Art in 2012 at Ariguanabo will take place on January 20th at the Craft Circle at 8.30 pm.
With a monthly basis the ariguanabense have a Date with Art leads and directs by the reporter Sandy Castrillo. The program dedicated to Spain envisages a journey through the different manifestations also tributes to performers of the song in that country which include Rocio Durcal, Rocio Jurado and Julio Iglesias.
The show travels through different sections with the participation of guests. George Lucas Pereda as the fine arts artist and performer, Illusion dance group of the elementary school Le Thi Rieng, the theater group of the Culture House by the art instructor Yitsia Gonzalez on José Martí text, The Spanish Dancer and fragments of Blood Wedding by Federico Garcia Lorca, also the public will enjoy the performances of the soloists Lázaro Lasnier, Pablo Alejandro, Rachel Ramirez, Damayanti Guerra among others.
In the kitchen section, Deysi Peñate, National winner in the Canary Traditions Festival will present a typical dish of the Canary Islands, in Speaking of Literature remember the literary work of Miguel Hernández, the interpretation of the poems are by Lucy Maria Cabrera .
The dance group Garoé from Regla under the direction of Carlos Rafael Vega with a picture of Spanish choreography folklore that bring to the program movement, rhythm, color to the scene.
On stage harmonize the various manifestations interpreted with the artistic potential reached in the territory.
