San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba- With the support of 33 percent of the export wrapper and more than eight million in profits as a true symbol of the socialist enterprise, the Basic Unit of Cooperative Production Batalla de las Guásimas, continues to lead as a champion of the National Tobacco Union.
The unit is national collective since its founding in 1985. It is undergoing on tobacco benefit, brings more than 3000 quintals of tubers, vegetables and grains and about 3000 liters of milk for trade units.
The unit exceeds production record of exportable wrapper of 200 quintals. It is self-sufficient, producing food for the territory and raise production efficiency. For all the above said is a true socialist enterprise and has a special recognition in the country.
