Artemisa, Cuba-The Cuban Association of Agricultural Technicians and Forestry (ACTAF), announces the Second Edition of the National Competition of Fine Arts and Literature "ConConcienci@Verde", in order to awaken in girls, children and young people's interest in food production on agroecological basis with the care and conservation of the environment and contribute also to vocational training of future generations in harmony with nature and society.
The basis for the contest are:
VISUAL ARTS
The work will be delivered on paper or cardboard not exceeding 50 cm x 50 cm in dimension.
Will compete in five categories and was given two awards each for a total of ten awards. The categories are: 5 to 7 years, 8 to 10 years, 11 to 14 years, 15 to 25 years and 26 to 35 years.
LITERATURE
The works will be presented in original and one copy. Typed or written will be accepted, provided that your writing is legible.
GENERAL
Participation of girls, children and youth of all municipalities in the province with a work for each event.
The areas in which to express their creativity in the works will be:
The recycling of agricultural waste, using renewable energy, the importance of eating vegetables, fruits, vegetables and fresh herbs for health, frutoterapia, Girls, boys, agriculture and gender, organic and sustainable agriculture in harmony with nature, production and promotion of fertilizers and organic fertilizers, agriculture and environment protection and soil conservation, irrigation and agricultural drainage to improve crop and soil.
Also the theme: Production of seeds and plants for reforestation, the importance of caring for forests, importance of production of medicinal plants, ornamental flowers, plants protection. Pest diagnosis. Its control.
The data must show the jobs that are competing are:

- Address and telephone.
- Municipality and province.
Papers must be submitted before May 30th, 2012 and results will be announced in the Provincial Act in salute to World Environment Day, on Saturday June 2nd, 2012. The national contest awards will be in Havana on December 15th, 2012.
