The seven years old boy, Ronel Cueto Fernández, was titled undefeated as National Champion in Cuban karting, in the category of National Cadet Championship, concluded this weekend at Villa Coco Sea kartodromo at El Salado beach in Caimito, Artemisa province.
Cueto Fernández maintained round the tip of his category and thus recalls the great moments in the sport of his father, Ronel Cueto Santos, considered the best karting pilot in the countryduring the nineties.
Behind champion were located Carlos Manuel Fernandez and Jose Villa Escusa from Spain. In the junior champion was Antuan Giral follwed by Erick Dubarganet and Regino Gonzalez.
Also in TAC category, the National Championship title went to the Italian Vanio Zampa, while Giovanni Giralt was second and Ruben Cantillo the third one. The Piston Port, tha last test competing in each race event in the country, the English Jason McDonald took the laurels and joined him on the podium the Italian Flavio Mina and Jose Antonio Fernandez.
The youngest of seven years told us, that takes pride in following the footsteps of his father and hopes 2013 a season like this, which is prepared for and aims to maintain the reign enjoys today with passion and joy.
