San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba- Times and Memory from the ariguanabense artist Roberto Conde, was opened at Lombillo Palace of the Historian Office of Havana.
With introductory remarks made by Liset Valderrama, left open the exhibition with 14 works that reflect the landscape of San Antonio de los Baños. Conde- self-taught artist and well known in the territory-works pen drawing on cardboard with great mastery of technique, his works are recognize at provincial level, personal and collective exhibitions.
Times and Memory
His work has a very personal aesthetic, contrasting lights and shadows with pen that gives it great artistic creativity.
The exhibition includes a large number of urban landscapes on Ariguanabo generally are identified colonial cars, coachman, Republican propaganda, in other sites are landmarks such as the Church Park, the Ariguanabo river and its buildings adjacent, Main Street and La Quintica.
It is characteristic of the artist to reflect the mark left by the time, are present like they are: cracks, destroyed roofs, windows, falls, lack of painting and maintenance of the walls. That is his intention, his reality show about the deteriorating demand environment, longing for the days of glory of the people that was him born.
