Artemisa, Cuba / The provincial meeting on sustainable organic agriculture, will be the climax in this province for the 25th anniversary of the Cuban Association of Agricultural and Forest Technicians.
The event, scheduled for today, seeks to defend a group of research projects ranging from the overuse of land to the NOT use of pesticides to favor plantations and human health.
Also meet a group of students from technical courses related to agriculture and pioneers members of Circles of Interest where they receive guidance on agroecological issues, one of many ways to guide children and young people with their vocationally.
Other initiatives in salute to February 2nd, anniversary of the Forest and Agricultural Technicians Association focuses on the award of the contest "green consciousness" that promotes an agroecological culture on a sustainable basis and "Harvesting the future" in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Union of Young Communists to bring the young generation to the rural theme.
