San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba-Students of Medical Sciences in the territory have planned activities during the month of November in connection with the celebration of the 90th founding anniversary of the Federation of University Students (FEU).
José Luis Santana, FEU president stressed that the membership will participate in the Provincial Assets, for the exchange about the role of student brigades and the role they are called for future physicians as professionals in performing comprehensive human work of save lives at any latitude.
Among the priorities are the precise health promotion with prevalence from knowledge of the epidemiological situation of the territory, the importance of promoting community the development of focus self, perception of risk from rising of Aedes aeghpti foci, digestive diseases, respiratory and prevention measures with participation in political activities characterized by recreational and cultural activities.
The physicians participating in the games, on November 9th at the Julio Perez stadium is part of the comprehensive training, the student's day celebration also conducting enable young morning, the encounter with the story in this month is of special significance, since the events of November 2th, 1871, the shooting of medical students.
The FEU president stressed that the program of activities for the celebration are planing to extend it with further linkage to Ariguanabo Radio station through participation in programming spaces to disseminate the work and interact with youth by promoting health issues impact on the community in the effort to help improve the population quality of life.
