Artemisa, Cuba, the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) in Artemisa along with the Provincial Book Direction, intended to encourage and advance the narrative and testing among the authors of the province, calls to Creation Grants Award 2014 in accordance with the following rules:
- Be eligible for the prize writers residing in the province, members or not of UNEAC.
- The book projects will be presented in essay and narrative genres not exceeding 10 pages, Arial 12, letter paper with an abstract.
- Each project will be presented in triplicate and with pseudonym. Also be delivered in a sealed envelope on the outside showing the project title and the author's pseudonym and inside personal data: name, identity card number, address, phone.
The award will consist of two corresponding creation grants of $ 2 000.00 each, to be delivered to the authors over a period of six months in order to finish it. After the stipulated time winning authors present a printed copy of the book at UNEAC presidency who agrees to manage the publication with the Provincial Book.
The projects will be sent or delivered to the provincial UNEAC, located in Plaza "Niceto Pérez" in Güira Melena, from the publication of this notice until February 15th, 2014.
The award will be deliver and presented on October 20th, 2014 at the provincial headquarters of UNEAC at an artistic and literary activity.
