San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba - The Provincial and Municipal Culture Directions of Artemisa province and the Provincial Center of Visual Arts "Eduardo Abela", convened the Fifth Living Landscape "Reflections of a City", will be held on January 26th, 2014.
The event invited to create or recreate a real or imaginary world from dissimilar solutions, summoning artists who venture into genres such as printmaking, painting, photography, drawing in watercolors and other techniques to offer eternal life to the natural and historical heritage around us.
All interested persons may compete in the theme of landscape, whether traditional or contemporary, residents in Artemisa and Mayabeque provinces. Each contestant may participate with a maximum of 3 works made in the period between: January 2013 to January 2014 and have not been awarded in previous event. The technique used will be varied unlimited if is mounted. If should require assembly shall not exceed 1.00 x 0.70 cm. The works must have the following:
Author, title, home address, phone, age, place of study or work, identity card and must be delivered at the Provincial Center of Visual Arts "Eduardo Abela" at 58 St. No. 3710 e / . 37 and 39. San Antonio de los Baños, from January 3rd to 20th 2014.
The jury will be composed of artists and arts specialists, which awarded prizes and mentions. Their decision is final. The contest awards will be made on Sunday January 26th, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Provincial Center of Visual Arts "Eduardo Abela".
