San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba-The Museum of Humor and the Provincial and Municipal Directorates of Culture in the province, in order to stimulate the humorous creation of visual arts, convened the National Humor and Satire Hall, next April 17th to 19th, 2012 in this institution.
The deadline closes on March 10th, Cuban artists resident or not in the country, interested in participating in this twelfth edition of the show, will compete in General Humor, Personal Cartoon, Political Satire, Cartoon, Volumetric Humor and Photography with any free technical of support, graphic works may not exceed 100 cm x 65 cm wide. In the case of volumetric measurement should not be greater than 74 cm in width, and height will be free.
Organizers report that each author may submit three works by genre and must be unpublished. The admission and awards jury, consisting of specialists will award:
• One award in each category
• A prize for the whole work
The cartoonists who are awarded receive diplomas and other gifts.
According to the bases of the event the works will be presented with the following information about the author: full name, phone number, age, identity card number, home address, place of work or study, e-mail address in addition shall include: title of the work, gender, applied technique. Papers should be submitted to either of two directions:

The opening of the Hall will be on April 17th, 2012 at 3:00 pm and the awards will take place on 19th at the same time, in the Museum. The works will be on display until August 31st and may be collected from October until February 28th, 2013. After this period, will swell the funds of the institution.
