San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba-The Department of Education announces the contest "Ciro Redondo", in order to promote the life and work of the revolutionary, character of the liberator.
In coordination with the Municipal Department of Culture and the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution promote the life and work of the province patriot. Within the programs of various teachings emphasize the redemptive spirit, courage and commitment to freedom and independence of the fatherland through conducting special morning, talks and testimonies from soldiers who knew the patriot.
Marlen Amador, Inspector methodology and scientific activities highlight that the event is aimed at students from fourth to twelfth grade, student teachers and non-teaching staff in schools, aims to pay tribute to Ciro Redondo.
They may compete in any form as lectures, poetry, slides, stories, drawings, like participants.
In the schools promotes student life and work of the Artemisa tireless fighter, in the last five years of Batista dictatorship helped organize and participated in the assault on Moncada Barracks, was imprisoned and knew the bitterness of exile where he returned after the bars for his love of freedom for Cuba.
Each of the centers will collect and deliver the works from October 24th at the Directorate of Education, those that reflect important aspects of the life and revolutionary career of the Patriot, will be selected for an exhibition at the headquarters´s agency.
