San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba-Two biennials have a photographer with photos folder in hand, spreading art, owns every landscape that opens in its path and drag it to these two biennials. His name is Alejandro Avila Garcia, güireño photographer, member of the Ariguanabo Radio Web and the weekly newspaper el artemiseño.
Ale, as we know him in San Antonio and Guira de Melena, participates in the X Biennial of Expo Photography, which opens on May 23rd, at the Provincial Gallery of Visual Arts Eduardo Abela and also in the XI Havana Biennial that began on May 11th, the latter with the exhibition entitled "Retazos".
The exhibition is the harmony of works made up of the Academy Building Group, composed of teachers and students of the Art and Photography Academy Cabrales Valley. It grew out of the new concepts of "self-employment", with creative direction by combining the visual with the symbolic imagery, from personal and subjective character in every creator, but with conceptual unity.
Creation Group The Academy is composed by Rufino del Valle, Alain Cabrera, Jose Antonio Rey, Laura Bártulos, Yanela Piñeiro and Alejandro Avila Garcia. Its members are graduates, administrators, architects, art historians and engineers and a newborn girl of 13 years with marked avidity intuitive art, which unites the need to use her knowledge of higher education in art training.
"Retazos", opened last May 17th at the Art Gallery Antonia Eiriz and augurs well received by the audience.
