San Antoniode los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba-The Sports Directorate in the territory, along with the press, announced the list of the best athletes of 2012 at Ariguanabo.
As in previous years, the best male athlete in individual sports was the skeet shooter, Guillermo Alfredo Torres Rodriguez, only Cuban with six assistances to Olympic Games and Champion and this year's cap against Guatemala and Panamerican discipline made in Chile.
In team sports was the second base player of Cazadores from Artemisa and pre Cuba to WBC III, Dayan Garcia Ortega, who was at the bilateral stop in front of the U.S. held in Havana and a visit to Mexico, to play with professional teams in that country, while in Special Sports tha award was to the seven-year-old boy Ronel Cueto Fernández, in karting, undefeated National Champion in the Cadet category.
The best Youth Athlete Award was to Edel Gonzalez Matanzas in Taekwondo and in Team Sports the most important youth basketball player was Pedro Pablo Larrinaga, next to the football Yanet Tamayo Reyera. In the school category were selected as the best Asniel Alcantara in Baseball and Rachel Arguelles in Taekwondo, while the player Julio Cesar Robaina was awarded in that category in team sports, and the athletic Isnel Sosa Dominguez in individual.
After analyzing the results of all Ariguanabo athletes, the INDER managers determined make the ratio of the top ten; inbaseball Michel Rodriguez, Oriel Martinez, Yunieski Garcia and Joan Montano, accompanied by Davidlandy Pérez in boxing, the chess players Wilber Vargas and Roberto Salgado,along with Yohandry Chape in Basketball.
The best coaches section were, Yensi Moreno Mujica from Baseball and Yoelvis Hernandez Arbolaez in Fighting. The Best Sports Team selection in 2012 was head of the Provincial Series Baseball First Class under the leadership of Roberto Chavez Mazola. the Physical Education and Recreation, gave space between the top to Teresa González Hernández as technician, Jorge Lazaro Macias in recreation, Yosvany Romero and José Cáceres as best PE teachers.
Among the judges and referees was chosen Yoel Diaz of baseball and the Best Sports Peña was Terry Fox. The Committee appointed to choose the most relevant of 2012 gave special recognition to the winners of the National School Games of High Performance and to the Special sports coaches.
The award to all athletes will be held on Saturday, December 22nd at ten o'clock in the Humor Park, with the presence of sporting glories and government officials, party and INDER.
