San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba-The beginning of the 2012-2013 tobacco campaign in all the country was unveiled this Wednesday in the Farming Basic Unit "Simon Bolivar", San Antonio de los Baños.
During the ceremony, were called the members of the National Tobacco Union at the Twentieth Congress of the Cuba Central Workers, to be held next year.
The Gathering and Benefit Tobacco company "Lázaro Peña" was selected for the start of the campaign in recognition of their productive results, to ensure more than 50 percent of the nation's exportable wrapper.
Presiding the ceremony, Justo Luis Fuentes, an official of the State Council of the Republic of Cuba, Ramón Frómeta, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Angel Morfi, second general secretary of CTC and Bernardo Oliva, secretary of the National Tobacco Union and leaders of the party, government, provincial and municipal ariguanabense institutions.
