San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba - Among the socio-economic reforms initiated in the country since 2010, were the changes in ownership between the emergence of self-employed, small private property, such as new form of employment seeking a solution to combine the satisfaction of needs of the population, primarily, food supplies and of course achieve revenue to the economy.
In the territory more than two thousand people exercise self-employment mainly in the procedure for preparing and selling food, transportation, selling, dressmakers or tailors, marketing jewelry, seller of outpatient agricultural products and others; which fit in all cases as contemplated in Decree Law.
Ania Álvarez García who attends the taxpayer registration states thatremain the conditions self employment, that is, that people are authorized, affiliated to social security where appropriate and timely entry in the National Administration Tax Office (Onat) to pay the corresponding taxes.
Points out that the affidavit process like in the rest of the country ends on April 30th and there are still taxpayers with late payment and are not presented to the office by not paying in time established taxes, not comply with the payment time and with prior coordination with the Labor Office may invalidate the contract.
While the emerging private property in Cuba, was a boost to employment in the country, continues to study reorientation within the economic system to be set up. Their legality is the essential contribution to the state budget, which up to date has been 18 %.
