Education from home to school

In the education of children at early age parents and teachers participate. Some parents think that this task is typical of teachers, because they do not feel competent as educators and have no available time for their children.

For their part, teachers say that the first and foremost educators are parents, especially in the formation of habits and education as people. At this point it is clear that education is a shared responsibility and this justifies the need to cooperate and work each other.

Teachers have a direct responsibility for all matters related to instruction and student learning. The technical aspects of teaching as determination and sequence of objectives, content and assessment criteria, teachers have a legitimate autonomy. From all this usually inform parents in a general session at the beginning of the course. They must also inform students of the difficulties of each subject and the strategies to overcome them.

For being a good student and the formation of personality parents are primarily responsible and can not ignore it or unconcerned by delegating this function to the school.

Parents should ensure that there is consistency between the ideas and approaches that their children acquire in school with the kind of education that are occurring in the family, especially concerned with the moral and educational convictions. They should know the content of textbooks and reading using their children.

It is also important to teach children the value of the well done work, and the acquisition of habits of effort and perseverance.   Education in modern times is not an easy task and requires close collaboration between parents and teachers with more preparation as educators and dedication of time to be with the children.
