In order to continue the process of elaborating the Integral Improvement of the Cuban Sports System -Sports Law-, the debate on this legislation will be held on October 31, at the Julio Pérez Stadium, in San Antonio de los Baños.
According to Michel Cartaya, specialist of the Sports Department, the entity's authorities and workers, as well as activists, promoters, methodologists, trainers and teachers of Physical Education of the municipality will participate.
Among the documents for the meeting, which takes place throughout the country, are those endorsed in the Cuban Constitution, the structure and operation of the Cuban Sports System, the organizational bases of competitive events, as well as the massive practice of recreational and sports activities.
Special attention will be given to communication, propaganda and press, related to sports. The final objective is to update the provisions of Resolution 8 of 2018, which regulates the Control System of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (Inder).
The Sports sector workers will discuss these issues, aimed at perfecting the sports practice in Cuba, and constituting the new Sports Law.
