The Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC) in San Antonio de los Baños and pioneers of the primary school Fragua de Comunistas, honored the Commander of the Revolution, Juan Almeida Bosque, on the 10th anniversary of his death.
Having as a premise the political-military work, of which Commander Almeida was a great promoter, the tribute allowed the new generations to acquire experiences and knowledge, through the life and work of the author of the musical theme ''La Lupe''
At the meeting Fernando Pérez, president of the ACRC in San Antonio de los Baños, explained to the students: ``Commander Almeida participated in the Assault on the Moncada Garrison on July 26 and in the landing of the Granma yacht. He was always next to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro. ''
The pioneers visited the historic site dedicated to the founding president of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution, where they were able to observe the significant places of the Villa del Humor visited by Juan Almeida, among them, the Ariguanabo Marti Forest and the headquarters of the ACRC.
